Happy Chinese New Year Everyone!
Today marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rabbit. I have been taught that the Chinese New year is the most important of traditional Chinese holidays and is a time to reconcile, forget all grudges and sincerely wish peace and happiness for everyone. I'm definitely no expert in the holiday and am only beginning to understand some of the customs associated with the celebration, but any day that involves feasts, family and good cheer is reason enough for me.
Also making her debut at 0700h this morning was my best friend's little girl, Kamryn Amber. Both Mom and baby are doing well.
So many reasons to celebrate!
