The House Guest
D and his family jetted off to Vegas for a few days but were in need of a bird-sitter while they were away. So while they were gambling all their money away, dining at top restaurants, searching for a good deal, enjoying the night life, spending family time together, I stayed at back home with this little one.

Make a Splash
Today my regular Friday lunch buddy cancelled on me last-minute so instead of going out to the Gastrohouse across the street for the soup and sandwich special, I grabbed a Jugo Juice and had a quiet lunch in my office. I was peering out the window, as I do from time to time, and noticed that something was falling from the sky. I assumed it was snow, I mean it is January! But low and behold it was actually raining! I don't particularly like the rain but heck, in the dead middle of winter I'll take whatever I can get!
And then I found these.....too bad my size is all sold out!

A Clean Confession
Lately, I just can't get enough of this stuff.
I can be an excessive hand washer, especially during cold and flu season. Normally I buy the big bulk container of 'whatever is on sale' soap and refill my little pump from time to time but this was just too yummy to pass up. I'm at the point where can't wait to go home and wash my hands.
Yup, I'm the crazy girl smelling her hands all day long.
Officially Obsessed.

Zoo Lights
Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope you are all having a great start to 2011, I know I sure am. I was fortunate enough to get a few days off work this holiday season so on January 1st I decided it was time to get outdoors, embrace the chilly air and enjoy what Zoo Lights had to offer.
And it was wonderful! Snow was falling softly, fire pits were a blazing, hot chocolate was readily available. What a great way to spend the first day of the year.
